Visa Information

All visitors to Australia, except citizens of New Zealand, must have a valid visa before boarding their airplane, regardless of the length of stay. Visa applications should be submitted as soon as possible, as visa processing times vary. It is recommended to submit the application 6–8 weeks before the intended date of travel (the beginning of September 2014 for ITW 2014).

• Check if you are eligible for an eVisitor or ETA visa, as these applications can be submitted on-line. The Department of Immigration and Border Protection has a useful fact sheet (PDF) outlining visa options.
• ITW 2014 is registered with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship’s (DIAC’s) International Event Coordinator Network (IECN).
